Wiz Khalifa's "See You Again" Singer Charlie Puth Talks Eyebrows: Why Is It Shaved?

American singer Charlie Puth hit international top charts by singing and writing the "Furious 7' soundtrack "See You Again" with rapper Wiz Khalifa. His unique set of eyebrows have raised questions from fans, wondering why his eyebrows appear that way. Diehard fans are copying his signature look.

"See You Again" is a tribute to the late actor Paul Walker. It was listed as number one on international top charts in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Sweden, Canada, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Switzerland, the United States, the United Kingdom, and France. His fans are shaving bits of their eyebrows to replicate Puth's look. They call themselves, "Puthers for life."

"Everyone keeps asking about why my eyebrow is like this," said Puth in a Youtube video. "I got bit by a dog when I was two years old."

Puth tweeted that he nearly died from the childhood incident due to head trauma. He revealed that his right "eyebrow is permanently like that" because it is scarred. He does not shave it intentionally. He then asked fans to "spread the word."

"I'm not in a gang, this is not how many people I've killed," joked Puth.

23-year-old Puth reached fame by uploading Youtube videos of his songs while he was in high school. He gained media recognition when singer Emily Luthor asked him to join her for a Perez Hilton contest. The two singers recorded a Youtube cover of "Someone Like You" by Adele which soon went viral. It was featured on the Ryan Seacrest website and the singers were contacted by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show.' Akon, Larry Jackson, and Jerry Ivy signed them to record label eleveneleven.

Puth graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2013. He is currently signed with Atlantic Records. He grew up in New Jersey. Puth describes himself as an introvert and different. He said that his only interest in music kept him from partying in senior year of high school. He said that in earlier years he would not have performed in front of two people and found his way by uploading his songs on Youtube. Puth stated that his wave of confidence came from the thousands of people around the world who watched his work online.
