"Naya was born to be a mother and is doing really great so far," the insider claimed. "And Ryan has amazing paternal instincts and has been waiting on them both hand and foot."

The 28-year-old star and her actor husband took to social media and announced the pregnancy through Instagram this April.

As she went through her second trimester, Rivera was excited more than ever about how sharing her child's growth with her spouse.

"There is one thing about the second trimester that makes it all worthwhile: Those first real kicks from your baby," she wrote in one of her blogs. "I will never forget the moment Ryan felt the baby kick for the first time. It truly was one of those precious memories I will have forever."

However, the third trimester had been extra challenging for the actress with which she needed to work hard as several body parts continue to ache or even "fall apart." Nonetheless, Rivera placed emphasis on the fun and thrilling things that she had gone through to reach the end of her pregnancy.
