Mission Agape held its third annual campaign called "Giving Jackets of Love' for individuals who are homeless and must live out in the cold winter streets.

On Sunday, volunteers and staff of the non-profit prepared food for about 600 people to celebrate Thanksgiving with those who are homeless, and to give away 500 winter jackets. The event took place from 4 PM at Union Mission Center in downtown Atlanta and in other locations in the city.

"No matter how hard the current situation might be, if we don't give up and keep moving toward our dream, we will be able to live a different life," said James Song, the executive director of Mission Agape, during the event.

Mission Agape has been partnering with Hosea Feed the Hungry since 2009 to host events on Martin Luther King's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, offering food and a time of fellowship to homeless individuals.
