"Here is a trustworthy saying: If anyone sets his heart on being an overseer, he desires a noble task. Those who have served well gain an excellent standing and great assurance in their faith in Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 3:1, 13).
Lord who has shown us a great example of holiness and humility, we praise You for allowing us to desire noble tasks so that our church and our family can remain healthy and holy.
We would like to reflect on ourselves and evaluate if we truly desire noble tasks. Lord, help us to show this world that we are Your good people.
We want our faith to grow as we take on the tasks that You have given us. Help us to remain good in Your eyes. We trust that You will help our community to remain strong when we try to be humble like You. We pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
